Polo has grown in popularity in Barbados over recent years, and the island now has four polo fields where international matches are played. Apart from the Barbados Polo Club, three new polo fields have opened at Waterhall, Lion Castle and Clifton, all of which offer great views as well as spectacular sport For a really different experience, head over to one of the fields and spend an afternoon enjoying the sport of kings while sipping on a glass of champagne, followed by a traditional Bajan buffet. The polo season runs from November to May and matches are played on Saturday and Sunday afternoons in January, February and March.
